In Your Dreams ... it looked like you were seeking the list of past performers for fest? I did keep this copy in my files, though there are a quite a few years missing. Not sure who put this together so can't offer credit but am grateful, thank you! I love remembering with these notes. Can anyone fill in the gaps? I have a bunch of programs from1990 on (though missed 1999 while we were framing the house) but need pre-1990 and would love some help!

Missing: 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1988, 1990, 1994, 1996,1997, 1998,1999, 2000, 2005, 2012, 2013, 2014

I'm the Sue that posted on fb in answer to someones post about who was there in 1994. I also have programs from many other years missing...but having thought things over, have decided that while this herstory is very important to me, it is also being used to target those I love and have had deep appreciation for over the years. I choose not to participate in opening those doors wider and making it any easier for hate to be perpetuated.

It's a shame that performers are being slammed and boycotted for being a part of something that has been so instrumental in opening my heart and mind to the diversity of womynkind and the values of self definition. This has not only been instrumental in my growth as a human being, but in opening my heart to support those of the difficult paths of gender redefinition.

Some folks just like to cut off and destroy that which has opened the door for them getting more of what they need in their worlds.
I do not understand this.

I completely understand what you feel Sue and why you feel it. I respect it all.

But I can't help feeling incredibly sad that now, in addition to the future of Fest being at risk by these attacks, I feel that our herstory is being forcibly ripped from us.

No, we can't remember and reminisce and look fondly back...and those that have been born since have no herstory to look at/listen to and understand all of that amazing music/comedy/acting that was Fest.

Almost 40 years of amazing womyn on that Land...and we feel that we can only talk about it under cover in whispers...that is not what my over 20 years of Fests taught me.

I don't think I could deal with the boycotts and other stuff now if I was a performer, and so I do understand and respect Sue's view on this (and the desire to protect those that have given us so much)...but Fest was built on a revolutionary foundation of womyn coming together and creating...and now this decision that we shouldn't post our own herstory just feels like retreating to a corner and crying alone.

I am THIS close to finishing the performer history. I will post it in the closed Facebook thread under "Files". That way we can have access to it without it being available for performer trashing...

Actually, wait. I lied. I still need a few years' performer lists. But the above post still stands; I will put the finished list in the closed thread as a File.
