Just thought i would re-up this thread for this year so there is a place for solo travelers and festies to connect. There is a solo area for camping, and dining etc...

I'll be solo at Fest, my girl won't come with me. I'll have friends there, but they RV, so I'll be looking for connections. Thanks for starting this thread!

I wont EXACTLY be a solo, but I feel like it in spirit anyway. I have been to fest twice, once alone, once with my one oldest daughter. This year I am coming and bringing both girls. The first year I came I camped in the solo area, made many friends and had a generally wonderful time. The other time I came my daughter and I camped between Sprouts and Gaia girls and while I really enjoyed our location, I felt less connected. I didn't "join up" with groups of folks for meals, workshops, etc. I am trying to figure out my place at Fest. It's hard, because it feels like most people already have their group of friends. I am happy on my own, and happy in the space, but it is nice to have a larger group to connect with occasionally. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone, but I thought I would share what I am feeling and I am wondering if maybe I will camp near the solos area, even though I will have the kiddos with me.

I'm solo too-and I sort of feel like a fifth wheel quite a bit at Fest. I'm in RV. I camp on Debauchery Lane.
