Are you a festie virgin in the tristate area? Always wanted to come but never made it happen? Its not too late!

Exactly 90 days to opening gate come and sample festie food (pasta puttanesca and waldorf salad anyone?), get your questions answered about camping in the woods with thousands of womyn and girls, which workshifts are for you, and the perennial favorite, to tarp or not to tarp..

Raffle prizes and a 2013 Festival ticket will be given away. Performances and an open mike. Bring your instruments and voices for a Triangle-East sing along around a firepit (weather prevailing), and warm up for August Night Cafe

Hello my sisters! My co-hosts are lined up, the performance space is secured, the invitation is available and ready to send out! The Michfest Mixer is one month away!! Spring is finally here and we have Michfest Fever! On behalf of the divine ShelleyL and Michfest's Miss Liberty herself, Deborah Jacobs, we are looking forward to hosting the 2nd Annual Brooklyn May Mixer on Sunday, May 5th. Start the 90 countdown to Michfest 2013 with us!

We will be giving away at least one 2013 festival ticket this year- you can still enter to win even if you can't get to Brooklyn. See the thread I created about the 2013 ticket raffle here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=8268

Are you an artist who has played fest, or one that wants too? Are you a spoken word activist or poet with something to share? Are you funny? Can you dance? We invite you to step up to the mike, sit down at the baby grand or move freely about the space and show us what you got! Too shy for the spotlight? Weather permitting, we will have a Triangle-East fire pit sing-a-long, so bring your tambourines, harmonicas or any other instrument you wish.

For those of you that were at this party last year, you recall the music hall right next door to my house was where the performances were. My neighbor finally got his online presence together.. Way cool. I guess that makes mine the Home on the Range.. lol!

Exciting news! The very reclusive Heather Eatman has agreed to come out of seclusion and play, just for us! This will be a rare treat for those of you who can make it.. She will be festie virgin this year, I have encouraged her to come. Maybe next year she'll consider auditioning to play..
