Belzmom, I have almost enough now thanks to the Help LD get to fest thread. It is no longer on the new BB and not really needed i dont think. It is on the crew and michfest groups on FB though, so i am hoping that the stragglers will help out as time goes on. We are only half way there to fest and i am 90% ready to go now. I believe it will happen....
As to not seeing the new lineup on any of your internet toys, it is a cache issue. DUMP YOUR CACHE. The only way to force that is to hit shift at the same time you hit reload. That usually works. Else find the preference that dumps cache, then close and reopen browser and try again.

1 - Watching a great BB game between Nebraska and Purdue, are you there Wrinkles? In second overtime and missing part of the SEC final between TN and LSU. That will be another great game. P.S. I am nine days older than Pat Summitt, hmm...perhaps I should have gone with my original plan to coach, rather than the glorious career I have had in accounting.
2 - Taking a break from quilting, no one more amazed than me that I have gotten this far. Not great, but good and sort of addictive, maybe I will get better with practice.
3 - Had a great day out on the tractor mulching oak leaves and chopping (by hand) down monkey grass in the flower beds.
4 - The daffodils are up and they always make me smile on a sunny day.
5 - So looks like we will have the GAC and the BAC in RV. Aw, too bad no blender this year, although this does allow me to preserve a few more brain cells.
6 - I look forward to sitting under the GAC watching the partiers on their way to the Zone.
7 - All are welcome to the BAC, if I am not there check the cooler for a beer and leave a message on the white board.
8 - I need a new bread machine, mine gave up the ghost after ten years. I want to try some gluten free recipes.
9 - Okay Purdue won in double overtime and now LSU and TN are playing tough. Feel like I am watching amazons.
10 - I would drink a beer right now, but I sitll have some quilting and might sew my fingers together. I am a cheap drunk, thus the PPD was very effective.

1- I pulled out my back and am in SO MUCH PAIN!!! ouch!!!!
2- percocet is working its stuff!
3- I am flirting with someone far far away. Why do I always do this?
4- I realized yesterday that I am capable of being really cold. I don't really like that about me, though I know it's a defense mechanism that I gained in order to survive growing up. I would like to change it...
5- I am applying for a job that I really really really want.
6- I am going to try to start speaking as if I have this job.
7- Please send all possible woo for my new job!
8- It was insanely sunny here this weekend and it was amazing.
9- I can't wait for festival sun and fun!
10- I miss you womyn so much, and LOVE LOVE LOVE the new set up LD! Thanks!

Red, yesterday i tried to arrange the schedule so i'd have everything work and chore-wise taken care of well before the game started, and then took the dog for a nice long walk timed to arrive back home just as the TN game should be tipping-off; and what game do we find being shown again? Nebraska's! (Really can't complain. That was quite an ending.) Despite Baylor's perfect regular season record, i think March Madness this year should be very competitive.
As for your career choice, personally i think accountants with integrity and decency are as important and as admirable as any coach and they should receive more public recognition, support and appreciation for what they do.

Uusinger – waterproof paper! BRILLIANT! Clover – HI!!! Tori – oh, there are Zone plans. I am already working on the Wednesday party. I’ll be doing the flyer soon. But of course it is going to remain hush hush for a while to build anticipation! Cora – job woo to yooooou!!! I found out Saturday that some of my up north musician friends were playing a show in Detroit on Sunday. For once I was glad I was working the morning shift! So my lady and I drove downtown and caught the tail end of a not-so-good guy with a guitar…and then watched an AMAZING show by the Terminal Orchestra. 5 percussionists (although one of the guys plays trumpet half the time)…4 guitarists, 1 bassist, and 1 violin player. I would describe their music as orchestral post rock. Different parts of the UP have distinct musical genres…Marquette is a post rock town (among other things, but that’s the most popular lol). Anyway, if anyone is interested here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEzn4xSNBfYMy lady really liked them, which made me happy. :)

1. We celebrated our anniversary this past weekend by pretending we were on vacation. Took a dinner cruise (cheesy, but totally fun) and stayed at a hotel in the city. Sunday morning we had brunch at a restaurant on the 75th floor of the Hancock building on a clear morning with stunning views. It was AWESOME. 2. tori: Interesting theory on your electricity. You are probably right, but I would never have thought about that in a million years. We are going to camp on debauchery lane this year. Last year’s spot just didn’t work. Tell Ace I say hi. :) (And yeah, my linked in picture is slightly different than my typical fest face, huh??) 3. L’il BIT: Totally get it, but I still wish you were going to fest. I loved seeing you under that tree. Sending thoughts of heart-shaped watermelon your way… 4. Jamie: I don’t see anything wrong with posting a blog link in a new thread, but you’d be surprised how many lurkers this thread gets. You might get more traffic posting here! :) I can honestly say that I cannot wait to read your book. 5. lucilledesign: OUCH. Keep that up and you won’t be able to crowd-surf. So, knock it off! :) Hope you feel better soon!! We all still have a standing group CCE/worker dinner date on Sunday pre-fest, right?? 6. I already started my planning out my calendar for fest this year. There’s an intensive or two I might want to do. What’s catching YOUR eye?? 7. Red: Here’s a link to my latest find… I bought two of them. Can’t have enough flying shelves, can you?? :) And we will hopefully be contributing an ez-up or something like it. She’s thinking BIG, people. Carport-type big. Ok, check out my new shelves… http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-816A102T- ... =8-1-fkmr08. uusinger: Your poor cat!! :( 9. Wildwomyn: Can’t wait to hear more about your new puppy! 10. Belzmom: Is the blueberry beer Sea Dog?? I LOVE that stuff. 11. Trixie: I expect birthday spankings to be part of your “party rules” on Wednesday, since that will be my official birthday. Just saying. ;)

Hello lovely randomizers.. did you miss me?? I miss you all.. <3
1) This is my first post on the redesigned 2012 BB. I definitely have some mixed feelings about it, some of which are probably left over from traumatic events in childhood in which reliable, good things were taken away inexplicibly and I had to just deal with it. I guess i understand the rationale-- 15 years certainly crept up on us-- but I don't facebook etc, for my own weirdly principled reasons. Fest and this BB are "real" communities to me and I have shared and received lots of info, political, health, emo support etc, here from my fest sisters that is not directly related to fest.. I am not sure how to interpret the new guidelines..
2) I am still going to advocate for the wearing of RED for those that support the intention of the Festival. I am resistant/persistant on this issue and I have started my clothing pile.
3) With gas prices the way they are, I am SOOO glad I booked my flight already.. REALLY feel this was the right choice this year.
4) in light of #1 above, I am grateful this Forum still exists. Thanks, Lisa, for not pulling the plug entirely.
5) Would someone be willing to post the Bruno vid link again? I find the thought of butch women roaming the night amusing themselves at Fest somehow comforting....
6) I am toying with the idea of hosting a spring fling for Michfest party at my house in BKLYN. Round up some musicians, fund-raise, invite festie virgins. I had fun at the New Brunswick and NYC Midway to Michfest parties. A public thanks to the hosts, performers, and volunteers for those events. It was announce that the NYC Midway to Michfest Party needs a new leader. I ALSO heard Bitch and Ferron hosted a midway to Michfest party. Did any one go? I would TOTALLY go to the DETROIT Midway to Michfest party with DJ Sirlena and Mimi Gonzales if I were closer..
7) I got a plum new assignment at work. !!!! Very exciting..
8) The astrological climate sure is interesting.. Just sayin'..
9) My cat Vali Valentina just passed one year with us on her name day, Valentine's day, in which she turned up on our doorstep.
10) SKWD didn't post it in this thread, but I wonder if her tales of weather to the festie virgin recently included last year's Tuesday night storm?? WOW! so glad we didn't lose anybody! We need a weather thread..

FYI, I need to post 1.7 times per day in the next 152 days if I want to make 4000 posts before fest. This is totally doable.

1. Hi All!!! Love the new BB and especially love the new intention of the BB. LD, you are awesome! 2. K and I are looking at renting an RV for fest this year. I've never ever ever camped in an RV so I will need to be perusing the RV thread for sure. 3. K didn't get CCE so we are thinking about getting an RV where we can put her cycle on the back for her to use on Sunday/Monday. Can't say I wouldn't mind seeing her coming up the road on Monday on it. ;) 4. Went to the Madison michfest gathering. It was fun but I didn't know many there. Got to see nefarious and that was great! BlackMagicWomon was there too. And the chef sent out those yummy biegnets (how the eff to you spell that?) they make in NOLA. 5. Spring is arriving really early this year. Today the sun is out and the crocuses have finally opened to welcome the spring. It's gonna be in the 50's here today! In Wisconsin! yay! 6. Hoping to make it to the Chicago gathering. Should be fun. We're thinking of making a weekend of it and hitting the shedd or some other touristy place. Haven't been to the Shedd since they redid it. 7. Work has been crazy busy lately. Plus I don't know where I'll land at the end of the year. The company is splitting into two separate companies and I'm not sure where I'll land and where I'll have to move to. The closest would be within 50 miles of the new chicago office whereever that will be. Don't know if I'll sell my house or rent it or buy nearer chicago or rent an apt there. I'm feeling very uprooted right now. 8. K and I are doing well. I've insisted on no uhaul at this point. I need more time alone and M isn't really gone yet. She doesn't live here anymore but her cat and plants do and she's here often. I'm hoping that someday soon she will find her own place to live. 9. Had a really bad flu in Jan and coughed so much I threw out my back. Really sucks cause it hurts alot and is precluding some of my fav activities. Oh well, I'm just hoping it will be better soon cause it's almost gardening time and I am excited to be getting back to my yard after being somewhat absent from it last year. I was a bit distracted. :D 10. Spankings??? Did someone say spankings???? :D

1) amberlight - totally feeling you on the uprooted thing. *hugs* here's to landing somewhere soft and pleasant, and smooth transitions if they happen!
2) HF - absolutely you can cash that birthday date in! yaaaay, can't wait!! :o) :o) :o) (also, since work means i rarely make it to the zone, can you save me a spank?)
3) J, her mom, and i are going to the beach for 3 days this month! soooooooooo excited, and really hoping it won't be too stormy. we want to agate hunt, and generally beachcomb...and if the weather's ok, we might find a handblown glass float or two! the local artist community hides over 2,000 of them bit by bit from october to may.
4) we are staying in a family suite...J's mom gets the regular bed, and J and i get the bunk beds. LOL!
5) Belzmom - love the image of Henry in pajamas!
6) i've decided that growth feels just like that period about halfway through rehearsing a show when you really start internalizing and becoming your character. like your skin is too small, and has to melt and shift.
7) it's also what i imagine it feels like to drink polyjuice potion.
8) today's errands include the library, the bank, and buying stamps, protein bars, avocados, and a birthday card.
9) there are four piscean womyn in my immediate family. my baby sister is the odd one out, but her baby girl is due in late may, which will even things out a bit, lol!
10) LD, thanks for the cache-dumping tip - worked like a charm!

Oh. There will be spankings. Wednesday night is going to be off the HOOK this year. I am sooo excited about my party theme.
What are some other things you would like to do/see in the Zone, but might need a little encouragement? (keep it...uh R rated...ish...ok TV-MA...LOL)

1. Trixie, I want to see YOU (and your grrl) in the zone. Everything else is just icing :)
2. Long time away from the bb, missed you all.
3. Living in Seattle has been wonderful. It's so beautiful here, so much to do and see. And this winter, heh, exactly what I had in mind. Living with the family fills my soul.
4. My new job in Seattle has not been wonderful. We'll leave it at that.
5. Amber, hope things work out with the job. It was unsettling enough to do it by choice, not knowing or being able to choose must really suck.
6. Fest was a touch and go proposition for some time but I was approved for enough time to barely make it. My CCE spot was still available despite my tardiness (big thanks to you, you know who you are) but it will take a fest miracle to get me in the gates before they close on Sunday. Either way, I will see all my shuttle buddies by Monday morn for sure.
7. Red and Tori, I will be a frequent flyer at your campsites this year, mooching food, coffee and company. Flying to fest sucks.
8. Went to see Oklahoma at the 5th street theater with Aunti. It was wonderful. Still singing "I'm just a grrl who cain't say no". tee hee.
9. Thinking about going to Kinkfest in Portland in two weeks. Sounds delightful and I could use a diversion from work.
10. Found a market here that carries key limes! Thought I had seen the last of those. Made a couple pies, yum! I have to say, the quality of the little markets and groceries here is outstanding. Going downtown to Pike Place tomorrow, one of my favorite things to do here. And I don't even have to drive.
11. Got $150 of Sparkytown coffee in the mail and enjoying some of it right now.
12. I'm going to try to plan a memorial for Sparky at fest this year. I miss her so very much. She was my first fest buddy and I'm so glad to be able to come to fest this year to celebrate her life.
13. V
