LD, I wondered the same thing. Maybe they were worried that the others would target them? or that if they ended up in the final 2 the jury would shoot them down?

ld: Good to see you in here! :)

I agree with tori--I think they thought they'd be looked down on for stealing it, and somehow it would be seen as them being clever and "outwitting" the others if they were to simply find it (albeit by looking through his stuff) and then force it into action.

What makes this game so interesting to me is watching the dynamics of all of the relationships and how people think. Love it!

LD, you are right, of course that foraging thru others personal property is bad....maybe just a line they didn't want to cross? I don't know, maybe we'll find out tonight? or at the very least Sunday night.

Who was the guy a few games ago that lied about his grandma being sick? He crossed a line and didn't recover, did he? He ended up in the final 4 though....maybe karma got him!

Tori: his name was Johnny something. He pissed me off.

Oh my Goddess: y'all I SWEAR I was screaming at the TV to let the Goddess trust his vibes. I was sending actual VIBES through the TV. My daughter thought I was going to have a heart attack. I am so glad Yau used the idol: he truly listens to his inner voice. I love Yau man and I want him to win. I know he has an agenda regarding the END, but he was truly gratious regarding the truck. I am so excited about Sunday, but sorry it will be over. GO YAU MAN!!!!

What a great show it was tonight! At first, when Yau worked out the deal with the truck, I thought, "What are you doing?" He does, apparently know what he is doing, though. I, too was worried that he would get voted off tonight. Stacy received 3 votes, and Yau had received 2, and I didn't see what the sixth vote was, but it might have been a tie, if Yau hadn't played the idol.

I can't believe this season is over almost, but there is apparently another one starting this month, so that's cool.

Dee: I think Stacy only received 2 votes: Yau's and Earl's. The rest of the gang turned on Yau so it will be VERY interesting to see what happens from here on out. On the previews it taunt how "tension ridden" it will be. I may have to go to the ER to watch the finale; I might actually have a heart attack. I have truly enjoyed this year.

His name was John Dalton, but now he goes by Johnny Fairplay - what a misnomer!

I so want Yao Man to win! He's brilliant. I about freaked out when he won the truck because of the curse of the vehicle, no vehicle winner has ever won Survivor, remember? He's too smart to admit it, but I think it was also an attempt to throw off the curse.

Yea, you're right. Yau was gone if he hadn't played the idol.

Druid, so true about the "curse of the car".

I was wanting Cassandra and Yau to be the final two. Now, maybe I'm hoping it's Earl and Yau

Wow! Go, Yau-man, go! :)

I just watched it... I am so, so, so glad Stacy opened her mouth on the fact that she thought the vote would be split. If she would have played along as if she were going home Yao would probably not have used the idol. I am so happy he did! I don't care if he ultimately wins, because I'm so happy he's made it this far. I also really hope it's Earl and Ya in the final. I worry that the next vote will be ugly... One of the two of them will go. Even if Boo doesn't win the immunity challenge someone will get him to be the swing vote. Either Dreamz and Cassandra or Earl and Yao. If Earl or Yao wins immunity, then the other will hold the idol and use it--let's HOPE that happens! If Boo, Cassandra, or Dreamz wins immunity they'll use Boo to get off either Yao or Earl. Probably Yao since he's proven he's a threat even though everyone says he's not--plus the whole final four deal he has with Dreamz. Hopefully even if Earl or Yao don't win the idol everyone will target Yao and Earl will have given him the idol to use...

Can't wait for Sunday!!!

Also, way back when I saw some special on tv about this season. Probst was going through the players and predicting what would happen. I don't remember what he said about anyone except Yao. I distinctly remember him saying "Yao-man can not win this game." I can't wait for him to interview him in the reunion show, and eat his words!!!

Wow, this episode was great! I am very glad Stacy spoke up....Yuo took the hint and played the idol. The question is will he regret giving Earl the other one? It would be sweet if he had 2 plus the deal with Dreamz. He definatly has an agenda for the end, but that's what the game is all about isn't it? Playing! My first thought when he made the truck deal was that while he's genuianly a nice guy and wanted Dreamz to have the truck he's also getting rid of the curse. No doubt in my mind. And not to be unkind but if Dreamz can't afford a car how on earth will he afford gas for that thing!

Casandra, my cereal pick, is hanging in there. She seems to be skatting on coattails though. Not so sure I really like her. Has she put her 100% into any challenge? She doesn't seem to have much physical stregnth, or is she "saving" herself for the end? I'm begining to wonder.

It's anybody's game. Well Dreamz sealed his fate, the is no way he is going to win. He should have taken the car and ran. There is no way he gets any kind of vote now. It is still a final with only two contestants. He doesn't stand a chance. It is too bad Yau Man is gone. Great final

I think it's safe to say that most of the world of survivor fans LOVES Yao-man! I don't think there's been a player since Rupert that has had so much good energy and had so many people pulling for him....

Great show!

I admit, I was really thinking Dreamz would have kept his word. I was surprised by that. Rat bastard!

Earl cleaned up really well! I didn't think he was attractive at all on the show, and then he gained some weight, got a haircut, shaved, took a shower, and suddenly he was an attractive guy. I love that part--seeing what people look like when they are back to "themselves", and not starving and dirty. :)

I was so hoping they would award Yau money like they did Rupert. Oh well. I was hoping the council would put Yau's name down instead of anyone elses. Oh well.

Dreamz just purely pissed me off, he lied so much I don't think he knows which way is up or down. I love that Probst cut him off and moved on.

I loved seeing that it was a shut out and Earl go ALL votes, cool huh?

Can you believe the next Survivor is in China, WOW!!!!
