Said costume is simpls...
Jeans, a yellow safety vest, festi wear and yes... a fest name tag.
I was on parking crew last year and I found a couple of name tags in my gear when I was unpacking.

| I know that I have fest fever I keep boxes packed for next year and I am getting my outfits together now and I usually bring home festie stew and freeze it for I can eat until I return for more and I keep inviting festies to my house to spend the night........I love festie it is like my face perks up and I can handlle anything cause I know I will be with my WBW festies who are from every background and celebrate our womynhood and our common-ness and differences and our LOVE I too have leaves and ferns in my blanket and it smells sooooooooooooooo great

| you know you're addicted to fest when you decide to get up early to attend 'womyn only strength training' solely for the fact that they spelled womyn with a 'y'

when you check the bb at 10:30 in the morning and are SOOOOO disappointed that no one has posted anything! :~(
when you get all sentimental about an upcoming haircut because the last time you got your hair cut was by Sam by the Community Center.
when you put on favorite jewelry for a job interview and realize earrings, bracelet, and necklace were all acquired at barter market!
when friends try to talk you into joining them on a cruise and you flat out say .... not of it's the first part of Aug.
when, even in November, you're already exploring ideas of getting to get to MI a few weeks early and explore the UP.

when you make fest references so often that your friends, who have never been, start making references to make fun of you
like
'oh, lentils for dinner? that's JUST LIKE FEST'
'you know if you took your shirt off, you could stop complaining about being hot... and it'd be JUST LIKE FEST'
'you're filthy, you're covered in mud - oh my god it's JUST LIKE FEST'

When your dad... thinking how incredibly cool they are...
buys you and your mom each a LEOPARD PRINT SNUGGIE for Christmas...
And you automatically think... Item #1 for my fest pile!!!!

| your KIDS know you're addicted to fest ..... when you open a gift from one of your sons and he prefaces the gift-giving with "what we REALLY wanted to get you was a ticket for fest but just couldn't swing it..."
