bredna you brought your wife into this as a way of deflecting attention away from your position here as a legally married heterosexual man who claims to be a woman.
The issue is that a woman can't be married as a man, except fraudulently, and you would rather posit the idea that you're remaining a man in your marriage out of consideration for your wife rather than because you have and want to retain the privileges that derive from the institution of marriage.

I just wanted to re-post this away from the argument (or rather, Brendan's twisting of your words) because I didnt want it and your points to get lost.
You said this very passionately and succinctly and I, for one, am glad to share these boards with you.
The utter lack of respect these trans women are showing us just by intruding on our space here and trying to intrude on our space at Fest is so blatantly due to their own male privilege and misogyny.
And I want to make sure others get to see your post because I sincerely and 100% agree with it completely.

If you want to be really, fully woman, you'd annul your marriage and get in the economic pool most of us have to live in everyday.
You are clinging to male privilege if you are keeping your marriage intact even though you know your state doesn't recognize same sex marriage, you are clinging to male economic privilege because you don't want to be in the same economic situation as other lesbians who have to live in it everyday.
Either that, or use your situation to actively support same sex and transsexual legal relationships. Have the courage of your conviction to make this place a better place for the LGBT alphabet soup that you claim to be part of. Instead you hide behind a fraudulent concept that just because you formed a contract in certain circumstances you get to keep said contract intact. You are safe for now because there aren't many situations like yours and most jurisdictions don't want to deal with it.

You'll forgive me if I dont give a flying hooey what a man thinks about me and my feminism; especially one who insists on forcing himself on these boards and making his issues my issues..
The above, coupled with your continuing to equate our standing up to you and people like you when it comes to defending this space with hatred just goes to show how steeped in your own privilege that you are.
While there is no such thing as a wbt, no one has been threatened in any real manner -- I find it laughable that you would honestly believe someone who was being sarcastic about calling the IRS -- but then again, playing the victim seems to be your thing.
The only people being threatened here are the women who keep having to deal with you and your and other trans people's issues instead of being able to concentrate on each other so we can bond in our sisterhood.

It was (and is) ay least an attempt to scare me off the baords... People HAVE been hunted down and harrases in real life for on line postings by those with grudges. That is a fact which I'n sure you are aware of... So reguardless of if you really intended to actually do it or not, it was and is at least an attempt at blackmail.
My belief is that you are backing off now because you don't want to get banned.

Thanks for finding out Brenden's real name. You really are the master of online detective work! Srsly! I gave all pertinant info to my cousin, who as I said has been with the IRS for just over 18 years. After looking over everything I provided, all I heard at the other end was "interesting"!!!!...lol I should know more tomorrow, I'll email you on whatever else she finds out about Mr. _____

Oh yes you do. It happens when fest is threatened with lawsuits by trans activists intent on pushing their agendas on us. It happened when Kim Nixon pursued her lawsuit against Vancouver Rape Relief through to the Canadian Supreme Court. It happened when the Lesbian Center got sued and closed down by a sexually aggressive mtf who couldn't take rejection from the dykes. It happened when TJ sought out and posted personal information on AmazonHeart and said things such as 'I know where you live' as a means of intimidation. You participate in these events because you pursue and post inaccurate information that leads to and lends itself to these sorts of activities.
